Completed Summer 2017
The approximately 5,600-square-foot expansion project will:
• remove the old 1965 parsonage
• increase space for music programs
• provide a new, larger adult study space on the main floor
• create a relocated and expanded kitchen
• add a new youth room
• create a new nursery space
• include a large flexible space for church and community use
• add new restrooms, storage space and a drinking fountain
• be constructed to be as energy efficient as possible for good stewardship of the environment and future energy bills
AND will
• allow the offices, sanctuary, choir room, basement and nursery to stay in use during the approximate one year of construction
• NOT include any significant work on the sanctuary or the basement areas

Tentative Timeline

• Early September 2015 -  Completion of initial design for submission to city
• Mid-September - Invitation to church's neighbors to see plans
• Mid-September - Submission of plans to city planning department
• November - Meetings and hearings with city for city approval of project
• February 2016 - Completion of construction documents and start of construction bidding process with local construction companies
• Spring 2016 - Start of construction
• Summer 2017 - Completion of
Enhanced Use

The expansion project will allow continued, improved and expanded service to local community groups.

Parkinson’s support group
Quilting group
